For a some time I have been considering a new project, namely an open letter to prescribing physicians. It needs very careful thought and so I canvass the opinions and ideas of every member of the Benzo Group. It needs to contain all the latest information and facts that we know about benzos such as: Benzos are more addictive and harder to withdraw from than heroin The UK Government has repeatedly requested doctors not to prescribe benzos for more than 2-4 weeks. I think the time may be right in the UK and maybe the media here can be persuaded to publish such a letter. I shall certainly publish it on the Internet. Of course individuals would be able to print out this letter and take it to their own doctors. Below is my first draft. It needs some work. Ray Nimmo  Dear Doctor,
If you don't stop prescribing benzos like there's no tomorrow then all 880 of us from the Benzo Group will come round to your place and punch out your lights. OK?
